Great news! The professor was quite thrilled to have us work on his RepRap so that his Grad students could focus their time on other ongoing projects (there are quite a few). What we will be assembling and testing in the next few weeks will be a Mendel. The plastic parts have been made from a RapMan. Tomorrow we will be doing a quick count of the parts (there are a lot) and figure out what we are missing and where we should start. This is pretty exciting times for me, but I know I need to get up to speed with a lot of the technological side of the project. Wish us luck!
