Got bored and didn’t really know what to do with the 74SL93N counters that I had from my electronics labs. I wanted something to just flash a pattern so I daisy-chained two of the 4-bit counters together to make a 8-bit counter. An astable 555 timer was then used to provide clock directly to Q0. I tried to pick resistor values so that it is as close to 1Hz as possible, but right now it is still a little fast. Power comes from a 7805 regulated wall wart.
