Went to the prototyping lab after my last exam yesterday and finished the front acrylic panel for the clock. All that was left was soldering the 20 some wires in the most confined space possible. Not to mention the wires were from a 10-strand cable so were as stiff as hell. I also did not like the blob of hot glue holding the 2.5mm jack in place so I scraped that off and re-did it to be a tailed jack. Heat shrink tubing were used to keep it neat and clean looking. Finally, the hardware were replace with M3 hex bolts for that extra sophisticated look.
