You get what you pay for

A while back I decided to get into the world of 3D printing. Being cheap and not wanting to commit to any of the more established companies (makerbot for example), I bought myself a very cheap kit from QUBD called “TwoUp”. The design is simple and fairly easy to assemble. The quality is pretty poor with some of the parts broken from the thin packing job. Fortunately, the folks at QUBD sent me replacement parts that arrived months later (did I mention that the original shipment arrived 8 months after I purchased it and 6 months after the original ship date?). Any who, it took me less than a day to put it together and months to figure out how to get a first “okay” print.
